I agree, as long as we're all in general agreement with the wiki's "mission", we ought to be able to have a little fun, without being blatantly disruptive. Sooner or later, even the long-term passionate newbies learn to tell the difference and stop being so uptight and jumpy and delete-happy/report-happy. Heck, I'm here eight years now---most people are ET newbies by comparison :3

So, for example, when you post <sound:stuff/Pinkie%20Pie%20You%20Gotta%20Share%2c%20You%20Gotta%20Care.mp3> it looks like Click to play sound/video

But, if you don't have priv 94, you can't do any of this. Just ask for it at privs and someone should give it to you.

As to whether or not it's allowed in your house, it should be fine, since, as far as I know, there's no rule saying you can't have or upload copyright mp3 files. Until this has been rectified, I say you misuse the function to your heart's content.
